Key Responsibilities of the Speech Language Pathologist

• Evaluate speech/language and swallowing abilities of patients with impairments, functional limitations, disabilities, or health status changes due to various causes
• Establish a plan of care through evidence-based practice interventions and age-appropriate goals
• Collaborate with diverse professionals to implement and assess intervention programs
• Complete other duties as assigned

Requirements of the Speech Language Pathologist

• Current Certificate of Clinical Competence from ASHA
• Current Texas State License in Speech-Language Pathology
• Experience in Neonatal care
• Modified Barium Swallow Study experience
